2018 DTM Round 10 Recap, Gary Paffett 2018 DTM Champion!

Review of Round Ten and the final round of the 2018 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at was held at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.

On Saturday's race, Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and Current DTM Champion René Rast took the race win in his Audi RS5 DTM. Second was Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Robin Frijns in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was four tenths of a second behind Rast in the end. While, third place was BMW Team RMR driver Timo Glock in his BMW M4 DTM, he was two seconds behind Rast in the end.



On Sunday's race, Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and Outgoing DTM Champion René Rast took the race win in his Audi RS5 DTM. Second was BMW Team RMG driver Marco Wittmann in his Audi BMW M4 DTM, he was four seconds behind Rast in the end. While, third place was Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Petronas driver Gary Paffett in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was sixteen seconds behind Rast in the end; and enough for Gary Paffett to be 2018 DTM Drivers' champion for his second title to beat René Rast by only four points in the last round of the year.



Finally, fourth was Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Nico Müller in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was seventeen seconds behind Rast in the end.



And so, this years champions, Gary Paffett took the DTM Drivers' Championship. Mercedes-Benz took the DTM Manufacturers' championship.

That's the end of 2018 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season. Contracts to the Champions in DTM this season. And now for the 2019 Season.
