Mattia Binotto quits as boss of Ferrari F1 team

On Tuesday morning (29/11/22) it was announce that Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto has resigned from his role as Team Principal of the team, heis due to leave his role on 31st December. The team have struggled in the second half of the season.



No word who will replace Mattia Binotto as team principal, Mattia Binotto had been in charge since replacing Maurizio Arrivabene in 2019.

Right decision? time will tell if Mattia Binotto did the right thing and quit his Team Principal role at Ferrari. Who ever replace him as Team Principal at Ferrari, its the toughest job of any Team Principal in Formula 1 and that is managing Ferrari expectations.

So what's next for Mattia Binotto? Who knows.

2022 Extreme E Championship Round 5 Recap - Energy X-Prix , New Champions!

Review of Round Five of the 2022 Extreme E Championship season was the Energy X-Prix at Punta del Este, Uruguay.

In Qualifying, Veloce Racing lead qualifying with the team of Molly Taylor and Kevin Hansen.

In the first Semi-Final race that was won by Veloce Racing with the team of Molly Taylor and Kevin Hansen. Second was Abt Cupra XE with the team of Jutta Kleinschmidt amd Nasser Al-Attiyah, they were seven seconds behind the leaders in the end. While, third was GMC Hummer EV Chip Ganassi Racing with the team of Sara Price and RJ Anderson , they were twenty-two seconds behind the leaders in the end.

In the second Semi-Final race that was won by Genesys Andretti United Extreme E with the team of Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen. Second was Neom McLaren Extreme E with the team of Emma Gilmour and Tanner Foust, they were eight seconds behind the leaders in the end. While, third was Acciona/Sainz XE Team with the team of Carlos Sainz and Laia Sanz, they were sixteen seconds behind the leaders in the end.

In the Crazy Race that was won by X44 Vida Carbon Racing with the team of Sébastien Loeb and Cristina Gutiérrez. Second was Xite Energy Racing with the team of Ezequiel Pérez Companc and Tamara Molinaroa, they were thirty-eight seconds behind the leaders in the end. While, third was JBXE with the team of Fraser McConnell and Hedda Hosås, they were two laps behind the leaders in the end.

In the Final race, Abt Cupra XE took the race win with the team of Jutta Kleinschmidt amd Nasser Al-Attiyah. Second was McLaren Extreme E with the team of Emma Gilmour and Tanner Foust, were three and half seconds behind the leaders in the end. While, third was X44 Vida Carbon Racing with the team of Sébastien Loeb and Cristina Gutiérrez, they were ten seconds behind the leaders in the end. Enough for Sébastien Loeb and Cristina Gutiérrez to win his first Drivers' Championship this season by five points ahead of title rivals Johan Kristoffersson and Molly Taylor.

Also, it was enough for the X44 Vida Carbon Racing Team to win this seasons Teams' Championship to give the team their first Team's Championship by two points ahead of Rosberg X Racing.

Red Bull Racing signs back Daniel Ricciardo as a reserve driver for 2023

It was announce yesterday (23/11/22) that former Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo returns back at the team as their reserve driver during the 2023 season, after laving the team four seasons ago.



Daniel Ricciardo finished eleventh in the standings this season, best finish of fifth at Singapore. Resulting leaving McLaren at the end of the season, not completing his three deal he signed in 2020 after under-performesduring 2022. Resulting not finding a drive for 2023.



Ricciardo will be the reserve driver as back up to Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez at Red Bull this season.

Confirmed: Logan Sargeant races with Williams for 2023

It's been confirmed yesterday (21/11/22), current Williams Academy driver Logan Sargeant will race with the Williams F1 Team, for the 2023 Formula 1 season. Becoming the first United States driver to race in Formula 1 since Alexander Rossi in 2015.



Latifi, who has spent 2022 as a reserve driver with the team, with four Friday Morning Practice sessions this season while finished fourth in FIA Formula 2 Standings, is stepping up to a race seat alongside Alexander Albon for next season.

In my opinion, this was no big surprise this news happen, with the news of Nicholas Latifi leaving Williams at the end of the season.

Hopely Williams team will have a stronger 2023 F1 season.

2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Review

Review of the twenty-second and final round of the 2022 F1 season at Yas Marina Circuit on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

It was a dominating race weekend from Current Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen. Verstappen was on pole for Sunday's race. In the day to night Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Verstappen took the advantage at the start and comfortably lead the race throughout, leading most of the fifty-eight laps to win this seasons Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Max Verstappen's fifteenth race win of the season.



While, Charles Leclerc finished in second place in the Ferrari, Leclerc was nine seconds behind Verstappen at the end. Meanwhile, Sergio Pérez finished in third place in the other Red Bull to complete the podium, Pérez was ten seconds behind Verstappen at the end of the fifty-eight lap race.

Top Ten Sebastian Vettel F1 race cars

To Celebrate Sebastian Vettel's 299th and last Grand Prix start coming up at this weekends Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This post is the Top Ten Sebastian Vettel F1 race cars.

Number 10: 2021 Aston Martin AMR21
Story:
The Aston Martin AMR21 was designed by Andrew Green, Akio Haga and Ian Hall. The Aston Martin AMR21 was powered by the Mercedes 1.6 litre V6 turbo hybrid power-unit underneath. The Aston Martin AMR21 best finish was second place finishes at Baku and Hunganoring (later disqualified becasue of fuel sample) with Sebastian Vettel, took Vettel to twelfth in the the F1 drivers' standings in 2021, and Aston Martin to seventh place in the Constructor' standings in 2021.



Number 9: 2015 Ferrari SF15-T
Story:
The Ferrari SF15-T was designed by James Allison, Simone Resta and Fabio Montecchi . The Ferrari SF15-T was powered by the Ferrari 1.6 litre V6 turbo hybrid power-unit underneath. The Ferrari SF15-T took Sebastian Vettel third in the the F1 drivers' standings in 2015 with three Grand Prix wins for Vettel, and Ferrari to second place in the Constructor' standings in 2015.

Story:
Toro Rosso STR3 was designed by Adrian Newey, the Toro Rosso STR3 had the 2.4 litre Ferrari V8 engine underneath. The Toro Rosso STR3 took an impressive race victory with Sebastian Vettel taking the win at that seasons Italian Grand Prix. Overall, the Toro Rosso STR3 took a race win, and a pole position with 39 points in 2008 F1 season, took Sebastian Vettel to eighth place in the F1 drivers' standings in 2008, and Toro Rosso to sixth place in the Constructor' standings in 2008.



Number 7: 2017 Ferrari SF70H
Story:
The Ferrari SF70H was designed by Mattia Binotto, Simone Resta and Fabio Montecchi. The Ferrari SF70H was powered by the Ferrari 1.6 litre V6 turbo hybrid power-unit underneath. The Ferrari SF15-T took Sebastian Vettel second in the the F1 drivers' standings in 2017 with three Grand Prix wins for Vettel, and Ferrari to second place in the Constructor' standings in 2017.



Number 6: 2018 Ferrari SF71H
Story:
The Ferrari SF71H was designed by Mattia Binotto, Simone Resta and Fabio Montecchi. The Ferrari SF71H was powered by the Ferrari 1.6 litre V6 turbo hybrid power-unit underneath. The Ferrari SF15-T took Kimi Räikkönen to a Grand Prix two win that season, while Sebastian Vettel took five wins in 2018. Although the Ferrari SF71H never took a drivers' championship or the Constructors' championship. It did took Sebastian Vettel to second place in the Drivers' Standings and Ferrari to second place in the Constructors' standings in the 2018 season.



Number 5: 2009 Red Bull RB5
Story:
The Red Bull RB5 was designed by Adrian Newey and Geoff Willis. The Red Bull RB5 was powered by the Renault 2.4 litre V8. The Red Bull RB5 took Mark Webber two wins that season, while Sebastian Vettel four wins in 2009. Although the Red Bull RB5 never took a drivers' championship or the Constructors' championship. It did took Sebastian Vettel to second place in the Drivers Standings and Red Bull to second place in the Constructors' standings in the 2009 season and it gives Red Bull Racing how to win races in Formula 1.




Number 4: 2012 Red Bull RB8
Story:
The Red Bull RB8 was designed by Adrian Newey, Rob Marshall and Peter Prodromou. The Red Bull RB8 was powered by the Renault 2.4 litre V8. The Red Bull RB8 took Red Bull the 2012 F1 Constructors' Championship and seven wins altogether in 2012 to give Red Bull their third Constructors' title, were Mark Webber took two wins that season. While, Sebastian Vettel took five wins and his third F1 Drivers' Championship title as-well.



Number 3: 2010 Red Bull RB6
Story:
The Red Bull RB6 was designed by Adrian Newey, Rob Marshall and Peter Prodromou. The Red Bull RB6 was powered by the Renault 2.4 litre V8. The Red Bull RB6 took Red Bull the 2010 F1 Constructors' Championship and nine wins altogether in 2010 to give Red Bull their first Constructors' title, were Mark Webber took four wins that season. While, Sebastian Vettel took five wins and his first F1 Drivers' Championship title as-well.



Number 2: 2011 Red Bull RB7
Story:
The Red Bull RB7 was designed by Adrian Newey, Rob Marshall and Peter Prodromou. The Red Bull RB7 was powered by the Renault 2.4 litre V8. The Red Bull RB7 took Red Bull the 2011 F1 Constructors' Championship and twelve wins altogether in 2011 to give Red Bull their second F1 constructors title, were Mark Webber took one win that season. While, Sebastian Vettel took eleven wins and fifteen poles that season to concluded with his second F1 drivers championship for Vettel.



Number 1: 2013 Red Bull RB9
Story:
The Red Bull RB9 was designed by Adrian Newey, Rob Marshall and Peter Prodromou. The Red Bull RB9 was powered by the Renault 2.4 litre V8. The Red Bull RB9 took Sebastian Vettel to the 2013 F1 Drivers title his fourth in a row, while it took Red Bull to the 2013 F1 Constructors' championship their fourth in a row. And the Red Bull RB9 won thirteen races, all thirteen wins for Sebastian Vettel, which includes nine race wins in a row by the end off 2013.



To give the 2013 Red Bull RB9 the best Sebastian Vettel F1 car he drived in Formula 1. Happy 299th Grand Prix to one of the sports greatest ambassador Sebastian Vettel.

Confirmed: Nico Hülkenberg joins Haas F1 Team for 2023 replaces Mick Schumacher

It was confirmed on the eve of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (17/11/22), that Aston Martin Reserve driver Nico Hülkenberg will race with Haas F1 Team as their second driver for 2023 season alongside Kevin Magnussen and replacing fellow German compatriot Mick Schumacher.



Hülkenberg only race two rounds this season subbing in for an ill Sebasian Vettel, currently sits twenty-second in the Drivers' Standings, with his best race finish of twelfth place at Jeddah.

In my opinion, this is not a big surprise this news happen. It has been strongly rumoured since the Belgain Grand Prix that Hülkenberg was wanted by Haas.

Its great news for the Haas team as they have got an experience Grand Prix driver.

So what's next for Mick Schumacher? a return to Ferrari as a test-driver is not going to happen as his Ferrari Development contract is not going to be renewed, there is a some possiblity that a reverse drive at Mercedes could be his best option going into 2023.



Things are looking up for the Haas team in 2023.

2022 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Predictions

Predictions for this weekends Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit outside of Abu Dhabi for the final round of the 2022 Formula 1 season.

So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict that, Sir Lewis Hamilton for the win in the Mercedes, George Russell second in the other Mercedes, and Max Verstappen third in the Red Bull. Don't forget Sergio Pérez, the Ferrari drivers, the McLaren drivers, the Alpine drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel as-well for a podium place.

2022 WRC Round 13 recap - Rally Japan, Emil Lindholm 2022 WRC-2 Champion!

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round Thirteen of Rally Japan.

Last weekends was the thirteenth round of the World Rally Championship at the Rally Japan (10th-13th November), and that was won by Thierry Neuville in his works Hyundai i20 N Rally1.



While, Ott Tänak finished second in his works Hyundai i20 N Rally1, Tänak was seventy-one seconds behind Neuville at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Takamoto Katsuta finished third in his works Toyota GR Yaris Rally1, Katsuta was two minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Rally2 specifications), that was won by Grégoire Munster in his own backed Hyundai i20 N Rally2. Grégoire Munster finished in seventh place overall, he was eight minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

While, Toksport WRT 2 driver Emil Lindholm in his Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo finished third in WRC-2 class. Emil Lindholm finished in ninth place overall, he was eight and half minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally. With that result, Emil Lindholm was enough to clinched the WRC2 Championship this season in his Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo, contracts to Emil Lindholm and co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen for winning this years WRC2 championship.



Finally, former McLaren and Renault F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen in his Škoda Fabia R5 finished fourth in WRC-2 class. Heikki Kovalainen finished in tenth place overall, he was nine minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.



And so this years champions, WRC champions: Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia, WRC Manufacturers' Champions: Toyota. WRC-2 Champions: Emil Lindholm and Reeta Hämäläinen, and WRC-3 Champions: Lauri Joona.

2022 8 Hours of Bahrain Review, New Champions!

Review of the Round Six and the final Round of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship was held at Bahrain International Circuit, in Sakhir, Bahrain.

The Toyota Gazoo Racing team won the race overall and the Hypercar class too of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López in their Toyota GR010 Hybrid; Toyota 3.5 L Turbo V6. While, second place was the Toyota Gazoo Racing team, with the team of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryō Hirakawa in their Toyota GR010 Hybrid; Toyota 3.5 L Turbo V6; they were fourty-five seconds behind the leaders at the end of the race. Meanwhile, third place was the Alpine Elf Matmut, with the team of Nicolas Lapierre, André Negrão and Matthieu Vaxivière in their Alpine A480, Gibson 4.5 L V8; they were two laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

In LMP2 class (all cars using the Gibson 4.2 L V8 engine), Team WRT of Robin Frijns, Sean Gelael and René Rast in their Oreca 07 won LMP2 class. They finish in fifth place overall and they were eight laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

In LMP2 Pro-Am Cup Class (all cars using the Gibson 4.3 L V8 engine and a team must have a Bronze-rated driver in their line-up) AF Corse team of Nicklas Nielsen, François Perrodo and Alessio Rovera in their Oreca 07 won LMP2 Pro-Am class. They finish in fourteenth place and they were ten laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Pro class, was won by AF Corse Team of Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina won in their Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. They finish in sseventeenth place and they were fourteen laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Am class, was won by Team Project 1 team of Matteo Cairoli, Nicolas Leutwiler and Mikkel O. Pedersen in their Porsche 911 RSR-19. They finish in twenty-third place overall and they were nineteen laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

And so this years Champions, in the Drivers Championships, Toyota Gazoo Racing drivers of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryō Hirakawa won this years Hypercar World Endurance Drivers in in their Toyota GR010 Hybrid.



AF Corse drivers James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi won World Endurance GTE Drivers' Championship in their Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. Jota drivers of António Félix da Costa, Roberto González and Will Stevens won the Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Drivers in their Oreca 07. AF Corse team drivers Nicklas Nielsen, François Perrodo and Alessio Rovera won the Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Pro/Am Drivers in his Oreca 07. TF Sport drivers Ben Keating and Marco Sørensen took the Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Am Drivers in their Aston Martin Vantage AMR.

World Endurance Cup for GT Manufacturers was won by Ferrari.

While in this seasons Teams Championships, Toyota Gazoo Racing won the Hypercar World Endurance Championship in their Toyota GR010 Hybrid. Jota won the Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Teams in their Oreca 07. AF Corsewon the Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Pro/Am Teams in their Oreca 07. TF Sport won the Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Am Teams in their Aston Martin Vantage AMR.

2022 São Paulo Grand Prix Review, George Russell WINS!

Review of the twenty-first round of the 2022 F1 season at Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos on the outskirts of São Paulo for the Brazilian São Paulo Grand Prix.

Overall, the race itself was entertaining race to watch from start to finish. George Russell was on pole for Sunday's race ahead of Sir Lewis Hamilton.

At the hot and sunny São Paulo Grand Prix. Russell took the advantage at the start and comfortably lead the race throughout, despite a late safety car and a late challange from team-mate Hamilton. It was George Russell day, winning his first ever Grand Prix win to win this seasons São Paulo Grand Prix.



While, Sir Lewis Hamilton finished in second place in the other Mercedes for Mercedes first one-two finish of the season, Hamilton was fifteen tenths of a second behind Russell at the end.

Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Sainz Jr. was four seconds behind Russell at the end of the seventy-one lap race.

2022 São Paulo Grand Prix - Saturday's Sprint Race Review

Review of the twenty-first round of the 2022 F1 season at at Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos on the outskirts of São Paulo, for Saturday's Sprint Race at the Brazilian São Paulo Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was enjoyable race to watch. Shock of the season, Kevin Magnussen on pole for Saturday's race, putting his time in Q3 before the rain appeared ahead of Current Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen for Saturday's sprint race.



At the start of the Sprint Race, Magnussen took the lead ahead of first corner from Verstappen, until lap 3 when Verstappen took the lead. Verstappen stayed in the lead until lap 13 when George Russell overtake the World Champion and didn't look back to win the Sprint Race to give George Russell the pole for tomorrows race and eight points.



While, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in second place in the Ferrari, Sainz Jr. was four seconds behind Russell at the end.

Meanwhile, Sir Lewis Hamilton finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, Hamilton was four and half seconds behind Russell at the end of the twenty-four lap race.

2022 F1 São Paulo Grand Prix Predictions

Predictions for this weekends Formula 1 São Paulo Grand Prix (the previous name Brazilian Grand Prix would have worked better) at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos, São Paulo.

So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict that, Max Verstappen for the win in the Red Bull, Lewis Hamilton second in the Mercedes, and third place for Sergio Pérez in the other Red Bull. Don't forget George Russell, the Ferrari drivers, the McLaren drivers, the Alpine drivers, and Sebastian Vettel as-well for a podium place.

2022 Valencia MotoGP Review

Review of the twentieth and the final round of the 2022 MotoGP season at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia for the Valencia GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Álex Rins on his works Suzuki GSX-RR.



Second place was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Brad Binder on his works KTM KC16, he was four tenths of a second behind Rins at the end. While, third was Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martíni on his Desmosedici GP22, he was a second behind Rins at the end of the race.

Finally, Ducati Lenovo Team rider Francesco Bagnaia finished ninth place on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP22, he was twelve seconds behind Rins at the end. Ninth place was enough to give Francesco Bagnaia the 2022 MotoGP title. Francesco Bagnaia was 17 points ahead of 2021 MotoGP Champion Fabio Quartararo in the end. Contracts to Francesco Bagnaia for winning the MotoGP championship.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three four-stroke class), that race was won by Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Pedro Acosta on the Kalex. Second was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Augusto Fernández on the Kalax, he was twelve tenths of a second behind Acosta at the end. Second place was enough to give Augusto Fernández the 2022 Moto2 title. Augusto Fernández was 29.5 points ahead of Ai Ogura in the end. Contracts to Augusto Fernández for winning the Moto2 championship.



While, third was Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider Tony Arbolino on the Kalex, he was ten seconds behind Acosta at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by GasGas Aspar Team rider and New Moto3 Champion Izan Guevara on the Gas Gas.



Second was Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider Deniz Öncü on the KTM, he was a tenth of a second behind Guevara at the end of the race. While, third was GasGas Aspar Team rider Sergio García on the GasGas, he was six and half seconds behind Guevara at the end of the race.

And so who won what in which class, MotoGP Champion: Francesco Bagnaia, MotoGP Manufacturers' Champion: Ducati, MotoGP Teams' Champion: Ducati Lenovo Team. Moto2 Champion: Augusto Fernández, Moto2 Manufacturers' Champion: Kalex, Moto2 Teams' Champion: Red Bull KTM Ajo. Moto3 Champion: Izan Guevara, Moto3 Manufacturers' Champion: Gas Gas and Moto3 Teams' Champion: GasGas Aspar Team. And MotoE Champion: Dominique Aegerter.

Top Eight Mauro Forghieri race cars, Mauro Forghieri 1935-2022

With recent news that Formula One car designer Mauro Forghieri (13 January 1935 – 2 November 2022) who passed away on last Wednesday. Forghieri worked for a number of teams in his 30 year period in Formula 1, includes Ferrari and Lamborghini. Winning many races and winning a drivers' and constructors' title in his time in F1.

So this post is the Mauro Forghieri race cars (does include other race car that did race outside of Formula 1), starting with Number 8:

Number 8: 1962-63 Ferrari 250 GTO
Story:
Ferrari 250 GTO designed by Mauro Forghieri, Giotto Bizzarrini and Sergio Scaglietti. The Ferrari 250 GTO uses a Ferrari 3 litre V12 engine and produces over 300bhp. The Ferrari 250 GTO won the over 2000cc class of the FIA's International Championship for GT Manufacturers in 1962, 1963, and 1964, and took two second place finishes at Le Mans in 1962 and 1963.



Number 7: 1964 Ferrari 275 P
Story:
Ferrari 275 P was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 275 P uses a Ferrari 3.2 litre V12 engine and produces over 315bhp. Ferrari 275 P took the 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans win with Jean Guichet and Nino Vaccarella.

Number 6: 1963-66 Ferrai 250 LM
Story
: 1963-66 Ferrai 250 LM was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the 1963-66 Ferrai 250 LM uses a Ferrari 3.2 litre V12 engine and produces over 320bhp. Ferrari 250 LM took the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans win with Masten Gregory and Jochen Rindt the last Ferrari outright victory at Le Mans.



Number 5: 1970-75 Ferrari 312B
Story:
The Ferrari 312T (also named as Ferrari 312B, Ferrari 312B3, and 312B3-74) was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 312T was powered by the 3 litre Ferrari Flat-12 engine. The Ferrari 312T took 10 victories between 1970 and 1975, five for Jacky Ickx, one win for Mario Andretti, two wins for Niki Lauda, two wins for Clay Regazzoni. Which took, Ferrari to second the F1 Constructors' standings in both 1970 and 1974, almost took championship wins for Ickx (in 1970) and for Regazzoni and Lauda (in 1974).





Number 4: 1964-65 Ferrari 158
Story:
The Ferrari 158 was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 158 was powered by the 1.5 litre V8 Ferrari engine. Which, took the Ferrari 158 to two wins inbetween 1964 and 65, all two wins for John Surtees. Which took, John Surtees to the 1964 F1 Drivers' Title, becoming the only person to have won World Championships on both two and four wheels, and Ferrari to the Constructors' Championships in 1964.



Number 3: 1981-4 Ferrari 126 C
Story:
Ferrari 126 C (also named as Ferrari 126CK, Ferrari 126C2, Ferrari 126C3, and Ferrari 126C4) was the team's first attempt at a turbo engined Formula 1 car, it was designed by Mauro Forghieri and Harvey Postlethwaite. The Ferrari 126 C was powered by the Ferrari 1.5 litre turbocharged V6 engine, which produces over 550 bhp at the start of the 1981 season till the end at 1984 season, when it produced about 800 bhp in qualifying, detuned to around 650 bhp for race spec. Ferrari 126 C took ten wins between 1981 till 1984. Gilles Villeneuve, Didier Pironi and Patrick Tambay took two each, three for René Arnoux, and one for Michele Alboreto. Which took, Ferrari to the F1 Constructors' titles in both 1982 and 1983.



Number 2: 1963-64 Ferrari 250 P
Story:
Ferrari 250 P was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 250 P uses a Ferrari 3 litre V12 engine and produces over 310bhp. Ferrari 250 P took the 1963 Sebring 12 Hours win with John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti, took the Nurburgring 1000 km win with John Surtees and Willy Mairesse; took the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans win with Ludovico Scarfiotti and Lorenzo Bandini, and the Sebring 12 Hours win with Mike Parkes and Umberto Maglioli.



Number 1: 1975-80 Ferrari 312T
Story:
Possibly the most dominating Ferrari Formula One race car ever in Ferrari's history. The Ferrari 312T (also named as Ferrari 312T2, Ferrari 312T3, Ferrari 312T4, and Ferrari 312T5) was designed by Mauro Forghieri, the Ferrari 312T was powered by the 3 litre Ferrari Flat-12 engine. The Ferrari 312T took 27 victories between 1975 and 1980, four for Gilles Villeneuve, and three wins for Jody Scheckter, five wins for Carlos Reutemann, thirteen wins for Niki Lauda, two wins for Clay Regazzoni. Four Constructors' Championships in 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1979. And finally three Drivers' Championships for Niki Lauda in 1975 and 1977, and for Jody Scheckter in 1979.

Aston Martin F1 Team signs Stoffel Vandoorne as a reserve driver

It was announce yesterday (1/11/22) that former McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne will be Aston Martin's reserve driver during the 2023 season.



The Formula E Champion will share duties alongside reigning Formula 2 champion Felipe Drugovich, who signed to the team earlier this year.



It also appears that Nico Hulkenberg has been relieved of his duties with the team, reports that the former Renault driver will return to F1 with Haas in 2023.



Vandoorne will be the reserve driver as back up to Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll at Aston Martin next season.
