Skoda Fabia R5

Just like M-Sport/Ford with the M-Sport Ford Fiesta R5, just like Peugeot with the Peugeot 208 T16 R5, and just like Citroen with the Citroen DS3 R5, Skoda got their own Group R rally car.

This week Skoda will show off their new concept rally car at this weeks Essen Motor Show (The Germans version of the Autosport International Show) that will be more than likely their future Group R rally car called Skoda Fabia R5.





The new Fabia R5 will be built for Group R rules for the WRC-2 class for 2015. Based on the Skoda Fabia road car. The 2015 Skoda Fabia R5 Rally Car will have a 1.6 litre 4-cylinders turbo engine that produces around 260 bhp and top speed around the 155 mph mark. The car will enter in Group R rules, which will put the car in WRC-2 class in the middle of the 2015 season.
