It's Official: Johann Zarco signs for Avintia Racing on a one-year deal

It was confirmed on Monday (9/12/19), Johann Zarco has been confirmed as Reale Avintia Racing second rider for the 2020 MotoGP seasons on a one-year deal.



The former KTM rider will campaigning on a 2019 Desmosedici alongside Esteve Rabat.

Zarco will replace Karel Abraham at the team, who announced his MotoGP retirement two weeks ago, prior to Zarco's announcement.

Zarco finished in eighteenth place in the MotoGP Standings, with a best finish of tenth place back in Barcalona in June.
