Ericsson made his debut with the team in 2015, currently sits twenty-second place in the championship, with a best finish of eleventh place during the Mexican Grand Prix last season.
Overall, a good decision from Sauber to keep Marcus Ericsson for next season. No word yet who's team-mate next season it could be either current team-mate Felipe Nasr, former Sauber driver Esteban Gutiérrez or former Manor driver Rio Haryanto; the highest bidder will likely get the drive next season.
