Review of Round Twelve of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Argentina, at Autódromo Rosario on the outskirts of Rosario, East Argentina.
In the four Heats, those were all won by outgoing World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg.
In the first semi-final that was won by Volkswagen RX Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo. Second was EKS RX driver and current World Rallycross Champion Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1, he was two and half seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end. While, third was EKS RX driver Toomas Heikkinen in his Audi S1, he was four and half seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end.
In the second semi-final that was won by Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS. Second was all-inkl.com Münnich Motorsport driver Timo Scheider in his SEAT Ibiza Cupra, he was two and half seconds behind Bakkerud in the end. While third was Larsson Jernberg Motorsport driver Robin Larsson in his Audi A1, he was five seconds behind Bakkerud in the end.
In the final race, Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud took the race win in his Ford Focus RS. Second was Volkswagen RX Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo, he was two seconds behind Bakkerud in the end. While, third was EKS RX driver Toomas Heikkinen in his Audi S1, he was four seconds behind Bakkerud in the end.
