2015 United States Grand Prix Review, Lewis Hamilton 2015 Formula 1 Drivers' World Champion for a third time!

Review of the sixteenth round of the 2015 F1 season at Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas for the United States Grand Prix.

This race could be one of the best races of the season. With Hurricane Patricia causing havoc on a very wet Saturday. Qualifying was moved to a less wetter Sunday with Nico Rosberg taking pole. Come the race when the track started to dry with all the drivers on intermediate tyres, Mercedes driver and current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton took control, pass team-mate Nico Rosberg on the first corner just like at Suzuka earlier in the season.

Then lap 15 when the track started to dry Daniel Ricciardo took the lead in his Red Bull. Then when all drivers were on the dry tyres on lap 21, Nico Rosberg took the lead.

Then lap 38, Force India's Nico Hulkenberg retired after running into the side of Ricciardo in a bid to claim fifth, leading to a second virtual safety car of the race, under which Rosberg pitted, dropping to fourth, with Hamilton staying out to take the lead without pitting. Then, on lap 42, with Rosberg catching Hamilton, the safety car came out when Kvyat lost his car on the approach to the final turn, sending him into a barrier. That allowed Hamilton to make his stop and come out behind Rosberg and took the lead once again.

And finally on lap 49, Rosberg ran wide at Turn 12 to give Hamilotn the lead. From there it was Hamilton who stayed there to conclude with a race win in this seasons United States Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's tenth race win of the season.

And give Lewis Hamilton his third F1 World Drivers Championship title and 76 points ahead of Sebastian Vettel and 80 points ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg with three races to go. He also become the first British F1 driver to win back to back drivers' titles. So contractions to Lewis Hamilton for winning his third World Drivers' title.

While, Hamilton's team-mate Nico Rosberg finished second place in the Mercedes to give the team its ninth one-two finish of the season, Rosberg was three seconds behind Hamilton at the end.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Vettel was three and half seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the fifty-five lap race.
