Giedo van der Garde joins Sauber as reserve driver

After the Caterham driver announcement from yesterday (21/1/14), yesterday it was also announce that former Caterham driver Giedo van der Garde will be the Sauber Formula 1 team's test and reserve driver during the 2014 season.



Van der Garde made his grand prix debut with Caterham last season, after four years competing in the GP2 Series. Sauber said the former Formula Renault 3.5 series champion will be driving during some Friday practice sessions and "several tests" in the season ahead.
