2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona Review

As the title says a Rolex 24 at Daytona Review of the race. Review of Round one of the 2014 United SportsCar Championship at Daytona and the first round of the North American Endurance Championship.

Action Express Racing team won the race overall and Prototype class too of João Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi and Sébastien Bourdais in their Corvette DP. While, Wayne Taylor Racing team finished second place in the Corvette DP, the team of Jordan Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Max Angelelli and Wayne Taylor; they were 1.4 seconds behind the leaders. Meanwhile, the second Action Express Racing team finished third place in the Corvette DP, the team of Fabien Giroix, Burt Frisselle, Brian Frisselle and John Martin; they were 19 seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Le Mans Class, Porsche North America team won GT Le Mans Class and finished in sixth place overall in their Porsche 911 RSR; with the drivers of Richard Lietz, Nick Tandy, and Patrick Pilet; they were 16 laps behind the leaders.

In Prototype Challenge Class (all teams using Oreca FLM09 race car), CORE Autosport team won Prototype Challenge Class and finished in ninth place overall; with the drivers of Jon Bennett, Colin Braun, James Gue, and Mark Wilkins; they were 17 laps behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Level 5 Motorsports team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eighteenth place overall in their Ferrari 458 Italia; with the drivers of Townsend Bell, Alessandro Pier Guidi, Jeff Segal, Bill Sweedler, and Scott Tucker; they were 33 laps behind the leaders.
