The first guy who won for Ferrari in Formula 1 has past away, José Froilán González 1922 – 2013
Since 1951, Ferrari have won 221 race victories in Formula 1 and counting. And the first person who won for Ferrari was Argentine race driver called José Froilán González in his Ferrari 375 F1 car at the 1951 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. And then once again in 1954, winning at Silverstone for a second time, while four other podiums that year helped him to second place in the World Championship, behind only Juan Manuel Fangio in the standings.
