Review of the V8 Supercars round of the 2012 Bathurst 1000 at the famous Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales. The team of Paul Dumbrell and Jamie Whincup won the 166 lap race overall in their Team Vodafone, Holden Commodore VE2. Second place was Dean Canto and David Reynolds in their Bottle-O Racing Team, Ford Falcon FG, just 0.3 seconds behind the leaders at the end. Meanwhile, the other Team Vodafone of Craig Lowndes and Warren Luff finished third place in their Holden Commodore VE2.
