2012 6 Hours of Shanghai Review, new champions.

Review of the final round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship at Shanghai International Circuit. And for the third time this season Toyota won a race, Toyota Racing team won the race overall and WEC LMP1 class too with the drivers of Alexander Wurz and Nicolas Lapierre giving the TS030 Hybrid its third win of the season.



Menawhile, Audi Sport Team Joest team of Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen second place in their Audi R18 e-tron quattro. While, the second Audi of André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler and Benoît Tréluyerto finished took third place in their Audi R18 e-tron quattro and won the 2012 WEC Drivers' World Championship as-well. So contractions to André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler and Benoît Tréluyerto winning the 2012 WEC Drivers' World Championship and Audi winning the 2012 WEC Manufacturers' World Championship as-well.


While, Rebellion Racing won the 2012 WEC LMP1 Trophy (this championship is to full-season privateer LMP1 entries not designated as manufacturers)



In LMP2 class, the ADR-Delta team of Tor Graves, John Martin and Mathias Beche in their Oreca 03 with a Nissan VK45DE 4.5 L V8 engine won in LMP2 class and 7th overall. While, Starworks Motorsport won the 2012 WEC LMP2 Trophy.

While in GTE Pro class, was won by Aston Martin Racing of Stefan Mücke, Darren Turner, won in their Aston Martin Vantage V8, finished 16th overall as-well. While, Ferrari won the 2012 WEC Manufacturers' World Cup (full-season manufacturer entries participating in either of the two LMGTE categories). While, AF Corse team won the 2012 WEC LMGTE Pro Trophy.


While in GTE Am class, was won by Larbre Compétition team of Patrick Bornhauser, Julien Canal and Pedro Lamy in their Chevrolet Corvette C6.R and finished 19th overall. While, the Larbre Compétition team won the 2012 WEC LMGTE Am Trophy.
