Aston Martin F1 Team signs Stoffel Vandoorne as a reserve driver

It was announce yesterday (1/11/22) that former McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne will be Aston Martin's reserve driver during the 2023 season.

The Formula E Champion will share duties alongside reigning Formula 2 champion Felipe Drugovich, who signed to the team earlier this year.

It also appears that Nico Hulkenberg has been relieved of his duties with the team, reports that the former Renault driver will return to F1 with Haas in 2023.

Vandoorne will be the reserve driver as back up to Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll at Aston Martin next season.
