Review of the twenty-first round of the 2022 F1 season at at Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagos on the outskirts of São Paulo, for Saturday's Sprint Race at the Brazilian São Paulo Grand Prix.
Overall the race itself was enjoyable race to watch. Shock of the season, Kevin Magnussen on pole for Saturday's race, putting his time in Q3 before the rain appeared ahead of Current Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen for Saturday's sprint race.
At the start of the Sprint Race, Magnussen took the lead ahead of first corner from Verstappen, until lap 3 when Verstappen took the lead. Verstappen stayed in the lead until lap 13 when George Russell overtake the World Champion and didn't look back to win the Sprint Race to give George Russell the pole for tomorrows race and eight points.
While, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in second place in the Ferrari, Sainz Jr. was four seconds behind Russell at the end.
Meanwhile, Sir Lewis Hamilton finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, Hamilton was four and half seconds behind Russell at the end of the twenty-four lap race.
