Overall, the race itself was entertaining race to watch from start to finish. George Russell was on pole for Sunday's race ahead of Sir Lewis Hamilton.
At the hot and sunny São Paulo Grand Prix. Russell took the advantage at the start and comfortably lead the race throughout, despite a late safety car and a late challange from team-mate Hamilton. It was George Russell day, winning his first ever Grand Prix win to win this seasons São Paulo Grand Prix.
While, Sir Lewis Hamilton finished in second place in the other Mercedes for Mercedes first one-two finish of the season, Hamilton was fifteen tenths of a second behind Russell at the end.
Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Sainz Jr. was four seconds behind Russell at the end of the seventy-one lap race.
