Review of the third round of the 2021 F1 season held at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, on the outskirts of Portimão, for the Portuguese Grand Prix.
Overall the race itself was a good race to watch. Valtteri Bottas took pole for Sunday's race. At the start of the race Bottas took the lead at the start head of team-mate Current Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton. Just like last year Hamilton repeat history, on lap 20 Hamilton took the lead on the outside of turn 1 passing his team-mate Bottas. Hamilton never looked back; leading most of the rest of the laps, to win this seasons Portuguese Grand Prix for Sir Lewis Hamilton's second Grand Prix win of the season.
While, Max Verstappen finished in second place in the Red Bull, Verstappen was twenty-nine second behind Hamilton at the end.
Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, Bottas was thirty-three seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the sixty-six lap race.
