Pérez made the switch to the team in 2014 after a challenging 2013 season at McLaren, which followed on from an initial two-year spell at Sauber.
Overall, a very good decision from Force India to keep Sergio Pérez for next season. There were some rumours he could have gone to either Williams or Renault next season. But, for Sergio Pérez is still better the devil you know and stay at Force India for another season alongside Esteban Ocon, which makes Force India line-up a very strong one going into 2018.
