Review of round fourteen of the 2017 MotoGP season at Motorland Aragón, on the outskirts of Alcañiz in east of Spain for the Aragon GP.
In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Repsol Honda Team rider and current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez on his works Honda RC213V.
Second place was Repsol Honda Team rider Dani Pedrosa on his works Honda RC213V to compete a Repsol Honda one-two finish, he was a second behind Márquez at the end. While, third was Ducati Team rider Jorge Lorenzo on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP17, he was two seconds behind Márquez at the end of the race.
In the Moto2 race (Inline-four 600 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by EG 0,0 Marc VDS rider Franco Morbidelli on the Kalex. Second was Italtrans Racing Team rider Mattia Pasini n the Kalex, he was a tenth of a second behind Morbidelli at the end. While, third was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Miguel Oliveira on the KTM, he was six tenths of a second behind Morbidelli at the end of the race.
While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Leopard Racing rider Joan Mir on the Honda. Second was Del Conca Gresini Moto3 rider Fabio Di Giannantonio on the Honda, he was four hundredths of a second behind Mir at the end. While, third was Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider Enea Bastianini on the Honda, he was five hundredths of a second behind Mir at the end of the race.
It was confirmed on Wednesday (20/9/17), Reale Avintia Racing rider Héctor Barberá will return to Moto2 next season with the Pons HP40 team.
Barberá currently sits twenty-fifth in the championship, with a best finish of ninth place at Barcelona in June.
Finally, it was confirmed on Thursday (21/9/17) Moto2 rider Xavier Siméon have signed for the Reale Avintia Racing team for the 2018 MotoGP next season on a two-year deal, in a move that completes the 2018 grid.
Siméon currently sits twenty-first place in the Moto2 championship, with a best finish of seventh place at July's Assen TT race. Siméon will be partnered with Tito Rabat during the 2018 MotoGP seasons at Reale Avintia Racing.
