2017 World RX Round 5 Recap - World RX of Great Britain

Review of Round Five of the 2017 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Great Britain, Lydden Hill Race Circuit, in South-East England.

In the four Heats, those were won by Petter Solberg (winning three times) and Timmy Hansen.

In the first semi-final that was won by PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Petter Solberg in his Volkswagen Polo GTI. Second was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS, he was a second behind Solberg in the end. While, third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was fifteen tenths of a second behind Solberg in the end.

In the second semi-final that was won by PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo GTI. Second was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb in his Peugeot 208, he was two seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end. While, third was EKS RX driver and current World Rallycross Champion Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1, he was two and half seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end.

In the final race, PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Petter Solberg took the race win in his Volkswagen Polo GTI. Second was PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo GTI, he was seventeen tenths of a second behind Solberg in the end. While, third was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS, he was three seconds behind Solberg in the end.



Next stop World RX of Norway at Lånkebanen Circuit for Round Six of the 2017 World Rallycross Championship season in two weeks time.
