Review of Round One of the 2017 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.
On Saturday's race, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport BWT driver Lucas Auer took the race win in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM. Second was BMW Team RMG driver Timo Glock in his BMW M4 DTM, he was two seconds behind Auer in the end. While, third place was Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was three seconds behind Auer in the end.
On Sunday's race, Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green took the race win in his Audi RS5 DTM. Second was Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Mercedes Me driver Gary Paffett in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was five seconds behind Green in the end. While, third place was BMW Team RMG driver and current DTM Champion Marco Wittmann in his BMW M4 DTM, he was eight seconds behind Green in the end.
Next stop EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Brandenburg in Germany for Round Two of the 2017 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in two weeks time.
