Review of the fifth round of the 2017 F1 season at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, on the outskirts of Barcelona, for the Spanish Grand Prix.
Overall the race itself was enjoyable and entertaining race to watch. Lewis Hamilton was on pole for Sunday's race. At the start of the Spanish Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel had a lightning start and took the lead and took a strong lead over Hamilton. By halfway thorough the race Hamilton started to reduced the gap to Vettel with a different tyre strategy to the race leader. By lap 44, Hamilton took the lead overtaking Vettel at the end of the main straight and stayed there to the end to conclude with a race win in this seasons Spanish Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's second race win of the season.
While, Sebastian Vettel finished second place in the Ferrari, Vettel was three and half seconds behind Hamilton at the end.
Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo finished in third place in the Red Bull to complete the podium, Ricciardo was seventy-five seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the sixty-six lap race.
