2017 DTM Round 2 Recap

Review of Round Two of the 2017 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Brandenburg in East Germany.

On Saturday's race, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport BWT driver Lucas Auer took the race win in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM. Second was Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Mercedes Me driver Robert Wickens in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was three and half seconds behind Auer in the end. While, third place was Team Rosberg driver René Rast in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was twelve and half seconds behind Auer in the end.



On Sunday's race, Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green took the race win in his Audi RS5 DTM. Second was Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Mattias Ekström in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was six seconds behind Green in the end. While, third place was Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Mercedes Me driver Robert Wickens in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was seven seconds behind Green in the end.



Next stop Hungaroring, Mogyoród in Hungary for Round Three of the 2017 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in four weeks time.
