Round Three Recap of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

Review of Round Three of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Long Beach Street Circuit.

Taylor Racing team won the race overall and Prototype class too of Jordan Taylor and Ricky Taylor in their Cadillac DPi-V.R, Cadillac 6.2 L V8. While Tequila PatrĂ³n ESM team finished in second place in their Nissan Onroak DPi, Nissan 3.8 L Turbo V6; the team of Ryan Dalziel and Scott Sharp; they were six seconds behind the leaders. Meanwhile, Mazda Motorsports team finished in third place in their Mazda RT24-P, Mazda MZ-2.0T 2.0 L Turbo I4; the team of Jonathan Bomarito and Tristan Nunez; they were fifteen seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Le Mans Class, Corvette Racing team won GT Le Mans Class and finished in sixth place overall in their Chevrolet Corvette C7.R; with the drivers of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner; they were sixty-nine seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Riley Motorsports - WeatherTech Racing team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eleventh place overall in their Mercedes-AMG GT3; with the drivers of Gunnar Jeannette and Cooper MacNeil; they were a lap behind the leaders.

While Prototype Challenge Class did not participate for this race.

Next Stop Circuit of the Americas in four weeks time for round four of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
