2017 Bahrain Grand Prix Review

Review of the third round of the 2017 F1 season at Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was a great race to watch. Valtteri Bottas was on pole for Sunday's race for his first ever pole position in Formula 1, and lead for the first thirteen laps when a safety car appeared for the crash between Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lance Stroll, Bottas pitted for tyres while Sebastian Vettel took the lead. Despite Vettel needed to pitted for tyres on lap 33 and Hamilton taking the lead, Vettel didn't need to worry. Vettel evaporating Hamilton lead, with Hamilton pitted for tyres on lap 41. Vettel retake the lead and stayed there to win this seasons Bahrain Grand Prix for Vettel's second race win of the season.



While, Lewis Hamilton finished in second place in the Mercedes, Hamilton was six seconds behind Vettel at the end.

Meanwhile, Hamilton's team-mate Valtteri Bottas finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, Bottas was twenty seconds behind Vettel at the end of the fifty-seven lap race.
