Current MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo tested a 2014 Mercedes' F1 car at Silverstone on Thursday (6/10/2016).
Lorenzo's maiden outing in the 2014 Mercedes F1 W05 Hybrid took place on the Silverstone's International layout, and was arranged by mutual sponsor Monster Energy.
No lap times were released, but Lorenzo was pleased with his personal performance.
Not the first time a MotoGP rider have driven a Formula 1 car, includes Valentino Rossi driven for multiple times for Ferrari between 2006 till 2009 at Fiorano, Barcelona, Valencia and Mugello.
And Max Biaggi for the Midland (Force India) team in 2006 at Silverstone.
So who's next driving a Formula 1 car from the MotoGP world, Marc Márquez perhaps?
