2016 World RX Round 10 Recap - World RX of Latvia

Review of Round Ten of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Latvia, at Biķernieku Kompleksā Sporta Bāze on the outskirts of Riga, Latvia.

In the four Heats, those were won by Timur Timerzyanov, Timmy Hansen and Johan Kristoffersson (winning twice).



In the first semi-final that was won by Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb in his Peugeot 208. Second was Volkswagen RX Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo, he was four tenths of a second behind Loeb in the end. While, third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was two seconds behind Loeb in the end.

In the second semi-final that was won by EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1. Second was World RX Team Austria driver Timur Timerzyanov in his Ford Fiesta, he was two seconds behind Ekström in the end. While third was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS, he was six and half seconds behind Ekström in the end.

In the final race, Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb took the race win in his Peugeot 208. Second was EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1, he was two seconds behind Loeb in the end. While third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was five seconds behind Loeb in the end.



Next stop World RX of Germany at Estering for Round Eleven of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season in two weeks time.
