Review of the ninth round of the 2022 F1 season at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, for the Canadian Grand Prix.

It was the race where Current Formula 1 Champion Max Verstappen controlled the race from the start of the Grand Prix to the end, on pole for Sunday's race, took the lead at the start of the race and never looked back; lead most of the laps and despite a late charge from Carlos Sainz Jr., it was Verstappen day, to win this seasons Canadian Grand Prix for Max Verstappen's sixth race win of the season.
While, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in second place in the Ferrari, Sainz Jr. was a second behind Verstappen at the end.
Meanwhile, Sir Lewis Hamilton finished in third place in the Mercedes to complete the podium, Hamilton was seven seconds behind Verstappen at the end of the seventy lap race.
