2020 San Marino MotoGP Review

Review of the seventh round of the 2020 MotoGP season at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, on the outskirts of Misano Adriatico in east of Italy for the San Marino GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Franco Morbidelli on his Yamaha YZR-M1.



Second was Pramac Racing rider Francesco Bagnaia on his Ducati Desmosedici GP20, he was two seconds behind Morbidelli at the end.



While, third was Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Joan Mir on his works Suzuki GSX-RR, he was two and half seconds behind Morbidelli at the end of the race.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three 765cc four-stroke class), that race was won by SKY Racing Team VR46 rider Luca Marini on the Kalex. Second was SKY Racing Team VR46 rider Marco Bezzecchi on the Kalex, he was eight tenths of a second behind Marini at the end. While, third was Italtrans Racing Team rider Enea Bastianini on the Kalex, he was nine tenths of a second behind Marini at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Petronas Sprinta Racing rider John McPhee on the Honda. Second was Honda Team Asia rider Ai Ogura on the Honda, he was four hundredths of a second behind McPhee at the end. While, third was SIC58 Squadra Corse rider Tatsuki Suzuki on the Honda, he was two tenths of a second behind McPhee at the end.

Finally in the MotoE race (a single make class with all the riders riding the Energica Ego MotoE bike), that was won by Trentino Gresini MotoE and Current MotoE Champion Matteo Ferrari. Second was LCR E-Team rider Xavier Siméon, he was two tenths of a second behind Ferrari at the end. While, third was Dynavolt Intact GP rider Mike Dominique Aegerter, he was four tenths of a second behind Ferrari at the end of the race.
