Review of Round Six of the 2020 British Touring Car Championship season was on the National Circuit at Silverstone, in Northamptonshire.
In the first race, Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Dan Cammish took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Second was Toyota Gazoo Racing UK with Ginsters driver Tom Ingram in his Toyota Corolla, he was a second behind Cammish in the end. While third place was Motorbase Performance driver Rory Butcher in his Ford Focus ST Mk.IV and also took Independents class win, he was four and half seconds behind Cammish in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy (for drivers yet to record an overall podium finish or won outright the Jack Sears Trophy championship) was won by HUB Financial Solutions with Team HARD driver Carl Boardley in his BMW 125i M Sport, he finished in twelfth place and was nineteen seconds behind Cammish in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, Team BMW driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington took the race win in his BMW 330i M Sport. Second was Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Dan Cammish in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he was two seconds behind Turkington in the end. While third place was Carlube TripleR Racing with Mac Tools driver Adam Morgan in his Mercedes-Benz A-Class and also took Independents class win, he was two and half seconds behind Turkington in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square driver Sam Osborne in his Honda Civic Type R (FK2), he finished in twelfth place and was eighteen seconds behind Turkington in the end.
Finally in the third race, Motorbase Performance driver Ollie Jackson took the race win in his Ford Focus ST Mk.IV and also took Independents class win as-well. Second was Team BMW driver Tom Oliphant in his BMW 330i M Sport, he was half a second behind Jackson in the end. While third place was Laser Tools Racing driver Ash Sutton in his Infiniti Q50, he was six tenths of a second behind Jackson in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by GKR TradePriceCars.com driver Bobby Thompson in his Audi S3 Saloon, he finished in twelfth place and was six seconds behind Jackson in the end.
Next stop Croft for Round Seven of the 2020 British Touring Car Championship season in two weeks time.
