2018 WTCR Round 2 Recap - Race of Hungary

Review of Round Two of the 2018 World Touring Car Cup season was the Race of Hungary, at Hungaroring, on the outskirts of Budapest.

In the first race, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Yann Ehrlacher took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8). Second was ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Esteban Guerrieri in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8), he was seven tenths of a second behind Ehrlacher in the end. While third place was RC Racing Team driver Norbert Michelisz in his Hyundai i30 N TCR, he was six seconds behind Ehrlacher in the end.



Meanwhile in the second race, Sébastien Loeb Racing driver Robert Huff took the race win in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Second was Zengő Motorsport driver Norbert Nagy in his Cupra León TCR, he was six tenths of a second behind Huff in the end. While third place was YMR driver Yvan Muller in his Hyundai i30 N TCR, he was two seconds behind Huff in the end.



Finally in the third race, BRC Racing Team driver Gabriele Tarquini took the race win in his Hyundai i30 N TCR. Second was RC Racing Team driver Norbert Michelisz in his Hyundai i30 N TCR, he was four tenths of a second behind Tarquini in the end. While third place was YMR driver Yvan Muller in his Hyundai i30 N TCR to complete a Hyundai podium whitewash, he was four seconds behind Tarquini in the end.



Next stop Race of Germany at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for Round Three of the 2018 World Touring Car Cup season in two weeks time.
