This years Indianapolis 500 is the 102nd running of the race. The winner was none other than Will Power. Becoming the first Australian driver to win the Indy 500.
The Team Penske driver took the lead for the final time with four laps to go overtaking Stefan Wilson, to win his first Indy 500 race.
Meanwhile second was Ed Carpenter Racing driver Ed Carpenter, he was three seconds behind Power in the end. Third place was Chip Ganassi Racing driver Scott Dixon, he was three and half seconds behind Power in the end. Fourth place was Andretti Autosport driver Alexander Rossi, he was five seconds behind Power in the end.
Meanwhile, Danica Patrick did not finish the Indy 500 on her final race of her career with Ed Carpenter Racing. She made contract with the wall on lap 67 to conclude her racing career.
