Review of Round One of the 2018 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.
On Saturday's race, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Petronas driver Gary Paffett took the race win in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM. Second was SILBERPFEIL Energy Mercedes-AMG Motorsport driver Lucas Auer in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was fourteen tenths of a second behind Paffett in the end. While, third place was BMW Team RMR driver Timo Glock in his BMW M4 DTM, he was seven seconds behind Paffett in the end.
On Sunday's race, BMW Team RMR driver Timo Glock took the race win in his BMW M4 DTM. Second was Audi Sport Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was two seconds behind Glock in the end. While, third place was Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Petronas driver Gary Paffett in his Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, he was three seconds behind Glock in the end.
Next stop EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Brandenburg in Germany for Round Two of the 2018 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in two weeks time.
