2017 World RX Round 6 Recap - World RX of Norway

Review of Round Six of the 2017 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Norway, at Lånkebanen Circuit on the outskirts of Hell, in central Norway.

In the four Heats, those were won by current World Rallycross Champion Mattias Ekström, Andreas Bakkerud, Johan Kristoffersson and Petter Solberg.

In the first semi-final that was won by Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS. Second was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb in his Peugeot 208, he was a second behind Bakkerud in the end. While, third was STARD driver Timur Timerzyanov in his Ford Fiesta, he was two and half seconds behind Bakkerud in the end.

In the second semi-final that was won by PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson in his Volkswagen Polo GTI. Second was EKS RX driver and current World Rallycross Champion Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1, he was fifteen tenths of a second behind Kristoffersson in the end. While, third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was four seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end.

In the final race, PSRX Volkswagen Sweden driver Johan Kristoffersson took the race win in his Volkswagen Polo GTI. Second was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS, he was two seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end. While, third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb in his Peugeot 208, he was four seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end.



Next stop World RX of Sweden at Höljesbanan Circuit for Round Seven of the 2017 World Rallycross Championship season in three weeks time.
