Review of Round Two of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Hockenheim, at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.
In the four Heats, those were won by Mattias Ekström, Johan Kristoffersson, current World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg and Toomas Heikkinen.
In the first semi-final that was won by EKS RX driver Toomas Heikkinen in his Audi S1. Second was EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1, he was half a second behind Heikkinen in the end. While, third was Larsson Jernberg Motorsport driver Robin Larsson in his Audi A1, he was four seconds behind Heikkinen in the end.
In the second semi-final that was won by JRM Racing driver Liam Doran in his BMW Mini Countryman. Second was Petter Solberg World RX Team driver and current World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg in his Citroën DS3, he was a second behind Doran in the end. While, third was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Ken Block in his Ford Focus Mk3 RS, he was thirteen tenths of a second behind Doran in the end.
In the final race, EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström took the race win in his Audi S1. Second was EKS RX driver Toomas Heikkinen in his Audi S1, he was two and half seconds behind Ekström in the end. While, third was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Ken Block in his Ford Focus Mk3 RS, he was four seconds behind Ekström in the end.
