2016 TCR Round 3 Recap

Review of Round Three of the 2016 TCR International Series season was at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Francorchamps, South East of Belgium.

In the first race, WestCoast Racing driver Aku Pellinen took the race win in his Honda Civic TCR. Second was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Pepe Oriola in his SEAT León TCR, he was four tenths of a second behind Pellinen in the end. While, third place was B3 Racing Team Hungary driver Dušan Borković in his SEAT León TCR, he was a second behind Pellinen in the end.



While in the second race, Leopard Racing driver Jean-Karl Vernay took the race win in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Second was Leopard Racing driver and current TCR International Series Champion Stefano Comini in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, he was two seconds behind Vernay in the end. While third place was Leopard Racing driver Antti Buri in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR to compete a Leopard Racing/VW podium whitewash, he was five seconds behind Vernay in the end.



Next stop Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola in Italy for Round Four of the 2016 TCR International Series season in two weeks time.
