A few weeks back, Citroen confirmed that they will be entering next year's World Touring Car Championship with Sebastien Loeb as one of their drivers for next season. And now recently, Citroen has revealed their WTCC challenger the Citroen C-Elysee WTCC for 2014.
The Citroen C-Elysee WTCC will be front-wheel drive machine and will use the same 1.6-litre turbo engine that's inside the DS3 WRC. Also, Citroen C-Elysee WTCC says the car will produce around 380bhp in race spec for 2014 WTCC regulations.
While, nine-time World Rally Champion Loeb will lead Citroen's 2014 program, more than likely Citreon will have a three-car line-up for next season. As rumours that Yvan Muller, Rob Huff and Alain Menu are all frontrunners for a drives alongside Loeb. Also, a possibility of Robert Kubica could be driving one of the C-Elysee WTCC.
Also, Citroen have confirm that a WRC programme will still happen next season without Sebastien Loeb. A whole new challenge ahead for Citroen,.
End of blog for how, new post soon. Bye.
