Review of Round Ten and the final round of the 2021 British Touring Car Championship season was at Brands Hatch's Grand Prix Circuit, in Kent.
In the first race, BTC Racing driver Josh Cook took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Independents class win. Second was BTC Racing driver Senna Proctor in his Honda Civic Type R, he was six tenths of a second behind Cook in the end. While third place was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was fifteen tenths of a second behind behind Cook in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy (for drivers yet to record an overall podium finish or won outright the Jack Sears Trophy championship) was won by Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom in his Honda Civic Type R, he finished in fifth place and was three seconds behind Cook in the end.
Meanwhile in the second race, BTC Racing driver Josh Cook took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Independents class win. Second was Adrian Flux with Power Maxed Racing driver Dan Lloyd in his Vauxhall Astra, he was six tenths of a second behind Cook in the end. While third place was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Gordon Shedden in his Honda Civic Type R, he was fourteen tenths of a second behind behind Cook in the end.
While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom in his Honda Civic Type R, he finished in fifth place and was two seconds behind Cook in the end.
Finally, sixth place was Laser Tools Racing driver and current BTCC Champion Ash Sutton in his Infiniti Q50, he was three seconds behind Cook in the end and enough for Ash Sutton to be 2021 BTCC Drivers' Champion for his third title to beat Colin Turkington with a race to spare.
Finally in the third race, Laser Tools Racing driver and current BTCC Champion Ash Sutton took the race win in his Infiniti Q50 and also took Independents class win. Second was Halfords Racing with Cataclean driver Daniel Rowbottom in his Honda Civic Type R and also took Jack Sears Trophy win, he was thirteen tenths of a second behind Sutton in the end. While third place was Ginsters Excelr8 with TradePriceCars.com driver Tom Ingram in his Hyundai i30 Fastback N Performance, he was fifteen tenths of a second behind behind Sutton in the end.
And so, this years champions, Ash Sutton took the BTCC Drivers' Championship. BMW took the Manufacturers'/Constructors' Championship. Laser Tools Racing took the Teams' Championship. While, Ash Sutton took the Independents' Trophy. While, Laser Tools Racing took Independent Teams' Trophy. And Daniel Rowbottom took the Jack Sears Trophy.
That's the end of 2021 British Touring Car Championship season. Contracts to the Champions in BTCC this season. And now for the 2022 Season.
