2021 San Marino MotoGP Review, Jordi Torres 2021 MotoE Champion!

Review of the fourteenth round of the 2021 MotoGP season at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, on the outskirts of Misano Adriatico in east of Italy for the San Marino GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Ducati Lenovo Team rider Francesco Bagnaia on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP21.



Second place was Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider Fabio Quartararo on his works Yamaha YZR-M1, he was four tenths of a second behind Bagnaia at the end. While, third was Avintia Esponsorama rider and Current Moto2 Champion Enea Bastianini on his Desmosedici GP19, he was five seconds behind Bagnaia at the end of the race.

In the Moto2 race (Inline-three four-stroke class), that race was won by Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Raúl Fernández on the Kalex.



Second was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Remy Gardner on the Kalex, he was four tenths of a second behind Fernández at the end of the race. While, third was Kipin Energy Aspar Team rider Arón Canet on the Boscoscuro, he was five tenths of a second behind Fernández at the end of the race.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Leopard Racing rider Dennis Foggia on the Honda. Second was Avintia VR46 Academy rider Niccolò Antonelli on the KTM, he was six tenths of a second behind Foggia at the end of the race. While, third was Rivacold Snipers Team rider Andrea Migno on the Honda, he was eight tenths of a second behind Foggia at the end of the end of the race.

Finally in the MotoE race (a single make class with all the riders riding the Energica Ego MotoE bike), Saturday race was won by Pons Racing 40 rider and Current MotoE Champion Jordi Torres. Second Dynavolt Intact GP rider Dominique Aegerter, he was two tenths of a second behind Torres at the end. While, third was Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse rider Mattia Casadei, he was four tenths of a second behind Torres at the end.

For Sunday race was won by Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE rider Matteo Ferrari. Second was Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse rider Mattia Casadei, he was three tenths of a second behind Ferrari at the end. While, third was LCR E-Team rider Miquel Pons, he was a second behind Ferrari at the end.

Finally, Pons Racing 40 rider and Current MotoE Champion Jordi Torres finish thirteenth place, he was forty-five seconds behind Ferrari at the end. Thirteenth place finish was enough to give Jordi Torres the 2021 MotoE title. Jordi Torres was 7 points ahead of Dominique Aegerter. Contracts to Jordi Torres for winning his second MotoE championship.



Finally it was confirmed on Friday (17/9/21), Moto2 rider Marco Bezzecchi will graduate to MotoGP next year with VR46 Racing Team, riding a Ducati Desmosedici alongside Luca Marini.



Bezzecchi currently sits third in the Moto2 standings, with a best finish of a race win at the Red Bull Ring.
