It was confirmed yesterday (21/8/20) that Williams Formula 1 team has been sold to a US-based investment group Dorilton Capital fully acquiring the team.
Williams, who were put up for sale in May after posting a £13 million loss in the previous year. Under the terms of the sale, the team will continue to race as Williams and will remain based at Grove, Oxfordshire, for the foreseeable future. The team will be still run by Sir Frank Williams and Claire Williams as Deputy Team Principal.
This is good news for the team they need? Ask me in a few years time. Forget the 2020 and 2021 seasons. 2022 will be the make or brake year for the team when new rules are introduce will show if the team are in the right direction when need too.
Let's see what the new owners can do with the Williams F1 Team now.
