This years Indianapolis 500 is the 104th running of the race. The winner was none other than former Jordan F1 driver Takuma Sato.
The Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver took the lead for the final time with twenty-seven laps to go overtaking Scott Dixon, to win his second Indy 500 race.
Meanwhile second was Chip Ganassi Racing driver Scott Dixon, he was five hundredths of a second behind Sato in the end. Third place was Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver Graham Rahal, he was a tenth of a second behind Sato in the end. Fourth place was his Dale Coyne Racing w/ Vasser-Sullivan driver Santino Ferrucci, he was a second behind Sato in the end.
Meanwhile, former McLaren and Renault F1 driver Fernando Alonso finished twenty-first place in his Arrow McLaren SP, he was a lap behind Sato in the end.
