Pérez became the first Formula 1 driver to test positive from the virus, missed the past two races at Silverstone after travelling to Mexico, one of the world's coronavirus hotspots, to visit his mother after she had an accident.
He was replaced by Nico Hulkenberg, who now stands down from his substitute role at Racing Point.
