Bottas joined the team from Williams in 2017 as a late replacement for Nico Rosberg and claimed eight victories in those four seasons so far.
He currently holds second place in the Drivers' standings, thirty points behind team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
Meanwhile, team-mate Lewis Hamilton has not yet signed a new deal yet, is expected to stay with Mercedes into next year.
Overall, a very good decision from Mercedes to keep Valtteri Bottas for another season.
