DJR Team Penske drivers Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat won the 161 lap race overall in their Ford Mustang GT. The win was Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat's first win around the New South Wales track.
Second place was Triple Eight Race Engineering driver Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander in their Holden Commodore ZB, they were seven tenths of a second behind the leaders at the end. Meanwhile, Walkinshaw Andretti United drivers James Courtney and Jack Perkins finished in third place in their Holden Commodore ZB, they were two seconds behind the leaders at the end.
