2019 WTCR Round 8 Recap - Race of Japan

Review of Round Nine of the 2019 World Touring Car Cup season was the Race of Japan, on the Honda owned Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka, South-East of Japan.

In the first race, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Esteban Guerrieri took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8). Second was Audi Sport Team Comtoyou driver Niels Langeveld in his Audi RS 3 LMS TCR, he was four tenths of a second behind Guerrieri in the end. While third place was KCMG driver Tiago Monteiro in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8), he was sixteen tenths of a second behind Guerrieri in the end.



Meanwhile in the second race, BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver Norbert Michelisz took the race win in his Hyundai i30 N TCR. Second was SLR VW Motorsport driver Robert Huff in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, he was three tenths of a second behind Michelisz in the end. While third place was Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver and Current WTCR Champion Gabriele Tarquini in his Hyundai i30 N TCR, he was eight seconds behind Michelisz in the end.



Finally in the third race, SLR Volkswagen driver Johan Kristoffersson took the race win in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Second was ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport driver Esteban Guerrieri in his Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK8), he was three seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end. While third place was Cyan Racing Lynk & Co driver Thed Björk in his Lynk & Co 03 TCR, he was eleven seconds behind Kristoffersson in the end.



Next stop Guia Race of Macau at Guia Circuit, Macau for Round Nine of the 2019 World Touring Car Cup season in three weeks time.

2019 WRC Round 13 recap - Rally de Catalunya, Ott Tänak 2019 World Rally Champion!

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round Thirteen of Rally de Catalunya.

Last weekends was the thirteenth round of the World Rally Championship at Rally de Catalunya (25th - 28th October) that was won by Thierry Neuville in his works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.



While, Ott Tänak finished second in his works Toyota Yaris WRC Tänak was seventeen seconds behind Neuville at the end; enough to give Ott Tänak the 2019 WRC title, contracts to Ott Tänak and co-driver Martin Järveoja for winning their first WRC drivers title.



Meanwhile, Dani Sordo finished third in his works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Sordo was eighteen seconds behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 Pro class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Group R5 specifications), that was won by Citroën Total driver Mads Østberg in his Citroën C3 R5. Mads Østberg finished in ninth place overall, he was eight and half minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

While in WRC-2 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Eric Camilli in his own backed Citroën C3 R5. Eric Camilli finished in tenth place overall, he was nine minutes behind Neuville at the end of the rally.

2019 Australian MotoGP Review, Lorenzo Dalla Porta Moto3 Champion! Rider News

Review of round seventeen of the 2019 MotoGP season at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circult, Phillip Island, south-southeast of Melbourne, for the Australian GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Repsol Honda Team rider and current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez on his works Honda RC213V.



Second was LCR Honda Castrol rider Cal Crutchlow on his Honda RC213V, he was eleven seconds behind Marquez at the end.



While, third was Pramac Racing rider Jack Miller on his Ducati Desmosedici GP19, he was fourteen seconds behind Marquez at the end of the race.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three 765cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Brad Binder on the KTM.



Second was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider and current Moto3 champion Jorge Martín on the KTM, he was two seconds behind Binder at the end. While, third was Dynavolt Intact GP rider Thomas Lüthi on the Kalex, he was six seconds behind Binder at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Leopard Racing rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta on the Honda. That was enough to give Lorenzo Dalla Porta the 2019 Moto3 title. Lorenzo Dalla Porta was 72 points ahead of Arón Canet with two races to spare. Contracts to Lorenzo Dalla Porta for winning the Moto3 championship.



Second was Leopard Racing rider Marcos Ramírez on the Honda, he was eight hundredths of a second behind Dalla Porta at the end. While, third was Gaviota Ángel Nieto Team rider Albert Arenas on the KTM, he was a tenth of a second behind Dalla Porta at the end.

It was confirmed on Thursday (24/10/19) Moto2 rider Brad Binder will graduate to MotoGP next year with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team instead of Tech 3
team than planned.



Binder, who is part of KTM's works Moto2 line up will replace Johann Zarco who was sacked early in the season, alongside the works KTM rider Pol Espargaró for 2020 season.

Binder currently sits third place in the Moto2 standings, with a best finish of three race wins.

Finally, this was also confirmed on Thursday (24/10/19) Moto2 rider Iker Lecuona will graduate to MotoGP next year with Tech 3, riding a 2020 spec KTM RC16.



Lecuona will replace Hafizh Syahrin, alongside Tech 3 rider Miguel Oliveira for 2020 season.

Lecuona currently sits twelfth place in the Moto2 standings, with a best finish of third place in Thaliland back in early October.

2019 Mexican Grand Prix Review,

Review of the eighteenth round of the 2019 F1 season at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the centre of Mexico City for the Mexican Grand Prix.

Overall the race itself was enjoyable race to watch. Charles Leclerc was on pole for Sunday's race alongside team-mate Sebastian Vettel. At the start of the Mexican Grand Prix, Leclerc took a strong lead over team-mate Vettel. By lap 15, Leclerc pitted for tyres giving Vettel the lead. By lap 38 Vettel pitted for his only stop for tyres giving Leclerc the lead again. By Lap 44 Leclerc pitted for tyres again, however a poor pit-stop cost Leclerc the lead of the race and giving the race lead to Current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton who was on a one-stop who pitted earlier and stayed there till the end to conclude with a race win at this seasons Mexican Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's tenth race win of the season.



While, Sebastian Vettel finished second place in the Ferrari, Vettel was two seconds behind Hamilton at the end.

Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, Bottas was three seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the seventy-one lap race.

Now with three races to go, Lewis Hamilton's win in Mexico and Valtteri Bottas only managing a third place finish in Mexico, Lewis Hamilton's lead of the F1 Drivers' Standings has been improved from sixty-four points to seventy-four points ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas in the standings with three races to go.

Lewis Hamilton could win his sixth Drivers' Championship in Mexico. If Hamilton finishes eighth or higher at the United States Grand Prix to guaranteed the championship.

F1 2019 Mexican Grand Prix Predictions

Predictions for this weekends Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the centre of Mexico City.

So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict that, Charles Leclerc for the win in the Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel second in the other Ferrari and Max Verstappen third in the Red Bull. Don't forget Alexander Albon, the Mercedes drivers', the McLaren drivers', and the Renault drivers' as-well for a podium place.

Celebrating Life Marco Simoncelli, eight years on

Its been eight years today that Marco Simoncelli has past away from us, from the accident at was competing the last but one round at Sepang in Malaysia of the 2011 MotoGP season. On lap 2, Simoncelli was fighting for fourth with Alvaro Bautista when he lost the front of his bike at turn 11 and slid across the circuit, into the path of both Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi, both of whom then hit the Honda rider and got instantly killed.







Today it should be celebrating life and never ever forget who was Marco Simoncelli.

2019 Japanese MotoGP Review, Takaaki Nakagami remains at LCR Honda for 2020

Review of round sixteen of the 2019 MotoGP season at Twin Ring Motegi, Motegi, Tochigi for the Japanese GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Repsol Honda Team rider and current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez on his works Honda RC213V.



Second was Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Fabio Quartararo on his Yamaha YZR-M1, he was nine tenths of a second behind Marquez at the end.



While, third was Ducati Team rider Andrea Dovizioso on his works Ducati Desmosedici GP19, he was thirteen tenths of a second behind Márquez at the end of the race.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three 765cc four-stroke class), that race was won by SKY Racing Team VR46 rider Luca Marini on the Kalex. Second was Dynavolt Intact GP rider Thomas Lüthi on the Kalex, he was six tenths of a second behind Marini at the end. While, third was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider and current Moto3 champion Jorge Martín on the KTM, he was three and half seconds behind Marini at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Leopard Racing rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta on the Honda. Finally, it was confirmed on Tuesday (15/10/19), Takaaki Nakagami has signed a new one-year deal with that will see him continue to compete with the LCR Honda team in MotoGP for 2020 alongside Cal Crutchlow.



Nakagami currently sits twelfth place in the championship, with a best finish of fifth place at Italy back in June.

Top six best Kimi Räikkönen F1 drives of all time! Celebrating Kimi's 40th Birthday

To Celebrate Kimi Räikkönen's 40th Birthday, this post is the top six best Kimi Räikkönen F1 drives of all time. There were so many races to choose from, if there any races I have missed this is only my opinion folks.



Starting with number 6:

Number 6: 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Story:
It was Räikkönen first season after two years away from Formula 1. By the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Räikkönen didn't lost none the magic, Räikkönen started in fourth place and went up to second place behind Lewis Hamilton, by lap 19 Hamilton retired with fuel pressure problems in his McLaren. Räikkonen took the lead which conclude with a race win at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to give Räikkonen his first win since the 2009 Belgian Grand Prix.



Number 5: 2007 Australian Grand Prix
Story:
Räikkönen replace Michael Schumacher at Ferrari for the 2007 season. For his first race at Ferrari in Australia, Kimi Räikkönen made replacing Michael Schumacher quite easy. Räikkönen on pole and never looked back, despite a small water leak towards the end, Räikkönen won the Australian Grand Prix and also the first time a driver had won on their first race for Ferrari since Nigel Mansell in 1989.



Number 4: 2018 United States Grand Prix
Story:
Räikkönen started in third place. At the start of the race, Kimi Räikkönen had the better start and took the lead and took a strong lead over Lewis Hamilton. By lap 11, Hamilton went to pit for tyres while Räikkönen stayed out in the lead. By lap 21 Räikkönen pitted for his only pit stop of the race while Hamilton took the lead. Until lap 38 Hamilton pitted for his second set of new tyres, in-which Räikkönen took the lead while Hamilton return to the track in third place. In the end Hamilton couldn't overtake Räikkönen giving Kimi Räikkönen his first race win since Australia 2013 at the age of 39.





Number 3: 2006 Bahrain Grand Prix
Story:
Räikkönen started in twenty-second place after suffered a right rear suspension failure during his first timed lap in qualifying. In hot and dry Bahrain Grand Prix, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain in this race show us an overtaking master-class, by the first lap Räikkönen was thirteenth ans overtaking ten drivers after the first lap till the end. Räikkönen only pitted for once in the race, Räikkönen came home in third place, if Räikkönen strated higher he might have won that seasons Bahrain Grand Prix.



Number 2: 2003 Malaysian Grand Prix
Story:
Räikkönen started in seventh place with a heavy 2002 McLaren pitting for fuel and tyres by lap 19, by lap 14 Räikkönen was leading the race. Räikkönen pitted on lap 19 and retook the lead on lap 23 after Rubens Barrichello pitting for fuel and tyres and never looked back to win the 2003 Malaysian Grand Prix for Kimi Räikkönen's first Grand Prix win winning it by 40 seconds ahead of Rubens Barrichello in the Ferrari.



Number 1: 2005 Japanese Grand Prix
Story:
Räikkönen started in seventeenth place after mixed conditions in qualifying in-which Räikkönen did his qualifying time in the rain. In a dry Japanese Grand Prix, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain in this race show us an overtaking master-class, by the first lap Räikkönen was twelfth, the next fifty-one laps Räikkönen overtaking the likes of Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, and Jenson Button. By the start of lap 53 and last lap Räikkönen overtake Giancarlo Fisichella on the the outside of turn 1 to win the Japanese Grand Prix.



To give the 2005 Japanese Grand Prix the best Kimi Räikkönen his greatest drive in Formula 1. Happy 40th Birthday Kimi Räikkönen.

2019 BTCC Round 10 Recap, Colin Turkington 2019 BTCC Champion!

Review of Round Ten and the final round of the 2019 British Touring Car Championship season was at Brands Hatch's Grand Prix Circuit, in Kent.

In the first race, Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Dan Cammish took the race win in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Second was Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he was seven and half seconds behind Cammish in the end. While third place was Team Shredded Wheat Racing with Gallagher driver Tom Chilton in his Ford Focus RS and also took Independents class win, he was eight seconds behind Cammish in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy (for drivers yet to record an overall podium finish or won outright the Jack Sears Trophy championship) was won by Cobra Sport AmD AutoAid/RCIB Insurance driver Rory Butcher in his Honda Civic Type R (FK2), he finished in fourth place and was nine seconds behind Cammish in the end.



Meanwhile in the second race, Adrian Flux Subaru Racing driver Ashley Sutton took the race win in his Subaru Levorg GT. Second was BMW Pirtek Racing driver Andrew Jordan in his BMW 330i M Sport, he was five seconds behind Sutton in the end. While third place was Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Dan Cammish in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he was seven seconds behind Sutton in the end.

Meanwhile, Independents class was won by Team Shredded Wheat Racing with Gallagher driver Tom Chilton in his Ford Focus RS, he finished in fifth place and was ten seconds behind Sutton in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Pro Alloy with Motorbase driver Michael Caine in his Ford Focus RS, he finished in eighth place and was twelve seconds behind Sutton in the end.



Finally in the third race, Sterling Insurance with Power Maxed Racing driver Jason Plato took the race win in his Vauxhall Astra. Second was Cobra Sport AmD AutoAid/RCIB Insurance driver Rory Butcher in his Honda Civic Type R (FK2) and also took Independents class win and Jack Sears Trophy as-well, he was a second behind Plato in the end. While third place was Adrian Flux Subaru Racing driver Ashley Sutton in his Subaru Levorg GT, he was two seconds behind Plato in the end.



Finally, sixth place was Team BMW driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his BMW 330i M Sport, he was thirteen seconds behind Plato in the end and enough for Colin Turkington to be 2019 BTCC Drivers' Champion for his fourth title to beat both Andrew Jordan and Dan Cammish by two points in the last round of the year.



And so, this years champions, Colin Turkington took the BTCC Drivers' Championship. BMW took the Manufacturers'/Constructors' Championship. Halfords Yuasa Racing took the Teams' Championship. While, Rory Butcher took the Independents' Trophy. While, Cobra Sport AmD AutoAid/RCIB Insurance took Independent Teams' Trophy. And Rory Butcher took the Jack Sears Trophy.


That's the end of 2019 British Touring Car Championship season. Contracts to the Champions in BTCC this season. And now for the 2020 Season.

2019 Bathurst 1000 Review

Review of the Supercars Championship round of the 2019 Bathurst 1000 at the famous Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales.

DJR Team Penske drivers Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat won the 161 lap race overall in their Ford Mustang GT. The win was Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat's first win around the New South Wales track.



Second place was Triple Eight Race Engineering driver Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander in their Holden Commodore ZB, they were seven tenths of a second behind the leaders at the end. Meanwhile, Walkinshaw Andretti United drivers James Courtney and Jack Perkins finished in third place in their Holden Commodore ZB, they were two seconds behind the leaders at the end.

2019 Petit Le Mans Review

Review of Round Twelve and final round of the 2019 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the final round of the Michelin Endurance Cup at Road Atlanta, Braselton, Georgia for the annual Petit Le Mans.

Whelen Engineering Racing team won the race overall and Daytona Prototype international class too of Felipe Nasr, Eric Curran and Pipo Derani in their Cadillac DPi-V.R, Cadillac 5.5 L V8.



While, Konica Minolta Cadillac team finished in second place in their Cadillac DPi-V.R, Cadillac 5.5 L V8; the team of Jordan Taylor, Matthieu Vaxivière and Renger van der Zande; they were a second behind the leaders. Meanwhile, Acura Team Penske finished in third place in their Acura ARX-05, Acura AR35TT 3.5 L Turbo V6; the team of Hélio Castroneves, Ricky Taylor and Graham Rahal; they were nine seconds behind the leaders.

In GT Le Mans Class, Risi Competizione team won GT Le Mans Class and finished in tenth place overall in their Ferrari 488 GTE; with the drivers of James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Daniel Serra; they were thirty-one laps behind the leaders.

In GT Daytona Class, Turner Motorsport team won GT Daytona Class and finished in eighteenth place overall in their BMW M6 GT3; with the drivers of Bill Auberlen, Robby Foley and Dillon Machavern; they were forty-seven laps behind the leaders.

In LMP2 class (all cars using the Gibson 4.2 L V8 engine), PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team of Dalton Kellett, Gabriel Aubry and Matt McMurry in their Oreca 07 won LMP2 class. They finish in thirty-second place overall and they were two hundred and sixty-four laps (other words DNF) behind the leaders at the end of the race.

And so who are this years champions as its the final round of the season. In Prototype Class, Dane Cameron and Juan Pablo Montoya won the drivers championship, while Acura Team Penske took the teams championship; while Acura took the Manufacturers championship.



In LMP2 Class, Matt McMurry won the drivers championship, while PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports took the teams championship.

In GT Le Mans Class, Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor won the drivers championship, while Porsche GT Team took the teams championship; while Porsche took the Manufacturers championship.

In GT Daytona Class, Mario Farnbacher and Trent Hindman won the drivers championship, while Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian took the teams championship; while Lamborghini took the Manufacturers championship.

2019 Japanese Grand Prix Review, Mercedes F1 Constructor Champions of 2019!

Review of the seventeenth round of the 2019 F1 season at Suzuka, Suzuka City for the Japanese Grand Prix.

The race itself was a good race to watch. With Typhoon Hagibis causing havoc on a very wet Saturday. Qualifying was moved to a dry and windy Sunday with Sebastian Vettel taking pole and team-mate Charles Leclerc on the front row. Come the race, both Ferrari drivers' had a poor start, while Valtteri Bottas had a lighting of a start from third place and never looked back; lead all but seven laps to win this seasons Japanese Grand Prix for Valtteri Bottas's third race win of the season.



While, Sebastian Vettel finished in second place in the Ferrari, Vettel was thirteen seconds behind Bottas at the end.

Meanwhile, Bottas's team-mate Current Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton finished in third place in the other Mercedes to complete the podium, hamilton was fourteen seconds behind Bottas at the end of the fifty-two lap race.

With Valtteri Bottas win and Lewis Hamilton third place was enough for Mercedes to win this seasons F1 Constructors' Championship with one hundred and seventy-nine points ahead of Ferrari with four races to go. Contracts to Mercedes for winning their sixth Constructors' Championship in Formula 1.



Now with four races to go, Valtteri Bottas win in Suzuka and Lewis Hamilton only managing a third place finish, Lewis Hamilton's lead of the F1 Drivers' Standings has been reduce from seventy-three points to sixty-four points ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas in the standings with four races to go.

Lewis Hamilton could win his sixth Drivers' Championship in Mexico. If Hamilton wins the race, with Bottas no higher than fifth at the Mexican Grand Prix.

F1 2019 Japanese Grand Prix Predictions

Predictions for this weekends Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, Suzuka City for Honda's home race.

So Predictions for the race, for the win, I predict Charles Leclerc for the race win in the Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton second in the Mercedes, and third place for Sebastian Vettel in the other Ferrari. Don't forget Valtteri Bottas, the Red Bull drivers, the McLaren drivers', and the Renault drivers' as-well for a podium place.

2019 DTM Round 9 Recap

Review of Round Nine and the final round of the 2019 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season was held at was held at the Hockenheimring, Hockenheim, in South-West Germany.

On Saturday's race, Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and Current DTM Champion René Rast took the race win in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM. Second was BMW Team RMG driver Marco Wittmann in his BMW M4 Turbo DTM, he was two seconds behind Rast in the end. While, third place was Audi Sport Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, he was eleven seconds behind Rast in the end.


Special mention to former Brawn and McLaren F1 driver and 2009 F1 Champion Jenson Button, who made a wild card appearance in this round in a Super GT spec Honda NSX-GT GT500 to finish in ninth place, he was thirty-one seconds behind Rast in the end.



On Sunday's race, Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver Nico Müller took the race win in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM. Second was Audi Sport Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, he was four seconds behind Müller in the end. While, third place was Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver and Current DTM Champion René Rast in his Audi RS5 Turbo DTM to complete an Audi podium whitewash, he was eight seconds behind Müller in the end.



And so, this years champions, René Rast took the DTM Drivers' Championship. Audi Sport Team Rosberg took the DTM Teams' Championship and Aldi took the DTM Manufacturers' Championship.



That's the end of 2019 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season. Contracts to the Champions in DTM this season. And now for the 2020 Season.

2019 6 Hours of Fuji Review

Review of Round Two of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship at Fuji International Speedway in Fuji, Japan.

The Toyota Gazoo Racing team won the race overall and the LMP1 class too of Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley in their Toyota TS050 Hybrid, Toyota 2.4 L Turbo V6. While, second place was the other Toyota Gazoo Racing to complete a Toyota one-two finish, with the team of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López in their Toyota TS050 Hybrid, Toyota 2.4 L Turbo V6; they were thirty-four seconds behind the leaders at the end of the race. Meanwhile, third place was the Rebellion Racing of Gustavo Menezes, Norman Nato and Bruno Senna in their Rebellion R13, Gibson 4.5 L V8; they were two laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

In LMP2 class (all cars using the Gibson 4.2 L V8 engine), Racing Team Nederland team of Nyck de Vries, Giedo van der Garde and Frits van Eerd in their Oreca 07 won LMP2 class. They finish in sixth place overall and they were eleven laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Pro class, was won by Aston Martin Racing team of Alex Lynn and Maxime Martin won in their Aston Martin Vantage AMR. They finish in fourteenth place overall and they were twenty-one laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

While in GTE Am class, was won by TF Sport team of Jonathan Adam, Charlie Eastwood and Salih Yoluç in their Aston Martin Vantage AMR. They finish in twentieth place overall and they were twenty-four laps behind the leaders at the end of the race.

2019 WRC Round 12 recap - Wales Rally GB, Kalle Rovanperä WRC-2 Pro Champion! Jan Solans Junior-WRC Champion! Champion!

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round twelve of Wales Rally GB.

Last weekend was the twelfth round of the 2018 World Rally Championship at Wales Rally GB (3rd-6th October), that was won by Ott Tänak in his works Toyota Yaris WRC.



While, Thierry Neuville finished second in the works Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC. Neuville was eleven seconds behind Tänak at the end of the rally. Meanwhile, Current WRC champion Sébastien Ogier finished third in the works Citroën C3 WRC. Ogier was twenty-four seconds behind Tänak at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 Pro class (Manufacturer entries competing in cars built to Group R5 specifications), that was won by Škoda Motorsport driver Kalle Rovanperä in his Škoda Fabia R5 Evo. Kalle Rovanperä finished in ninth place overall, he was eleven minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally. That was enough to give Kalle Rovanperä the 2019 WRC-2 Pro Championship with two rounds to spare in his Škoda Fabia R5 Evo; contracts to Kalle Rovanperä for winning this years WRC-2 Pro Championship.



While in WRC-2 class (Open to privately-entered cars; Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Petter Solberg in his own backed Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 in his final WRC rally from the 2003 WRC Champion. Petter Solberg finished in tenth place overall, he was twelve minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally.



Meanwhile in Junior-WRC class (Competing in identical one-litre Ford Fiesta R2s built and maintained by M-Sport) that was won by Jan Solans. Jan Solans finished in twenty-first place overall, he was thirty minutes behind Tänak at the end of the rally. With that result, Jan Solans did clinched the Junior-WRC Championship this season, contracts to Jan Solans for winning the Junior-WRC championship.

2019 Thailand MotoGP Review, Marc Márquez 2019 MotoGP Champion!

Review of round fifteen of the 2019 MotoGP season at Buriram International Circuit, on the outskirts of Buriram in east of Thailand for the Thailand GP.

In the MotoGP race (V-twin, V4, or Inline-four 1000cc four stroke class), that was won by Repsol Honda Team rider and current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez on his works Honda RC213V.

First place was enough to give Marc Márquez the 2019 MotoGP title, and his sixth title in the premier class, Marc Márquez is 110 points ahead of Andrea Dovizioso in the standings with four races to go. Contracts to Marc Márquez for winning the MotoGP championship.



Second was Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Fabio Quartararo on his Yamaha YZR-M1, he was two tenths of a second behind Marquez at the end.



While, third was Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider Maverick Viñales on his works Yamaha YZR-M1, he was fourteen tenths of a second behind Marquez at the end of the race.



In the Moto2 race (Inline-three 765cc four-stroke class), that race was won by SKY Racing Team VR46 rider Luca Marini on the Kalex. Second was Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Brad Binder on the KTM, he was two seconds behind Marini at the end. While, third was American Racing KTM rider Iker Lecuona on the KTM, he was two and half seconds behind at the end.

While in the Moto3 race (single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke class), that race was won by Gaviota Ángel Nieto Team rider Albert Arenas on the KTM. Second was Leopard Racing rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta on the Honda, he was two tenths of a second behind Arenas at the end. While, third was Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider Alonso López on the Honda, he was three tenths of a second behind Arenas at the end.

2019 BTCC Round 9 Recap

Review of Round Nine of the 2019 British Touring Car Championship season was on the National Circuit at Silverstone, in Northamptonshire.

In the first race, Team Toyota GB with Ginsters driver Tom Ingram took the race win in his Toyota Corolla GT. Second was Sterling Insurance with Power Maxed Racing driver Jason Plato in his Vauxhall Astra, he was four seconds behind Ingram in the end. While third place was BTC Racing driver Chris Smiley in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and also took Independents class win, he was seven seconds behind Ingram in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy (for drivers yet to record an overall podium finish or won outright the Jack Sears Trophy championship) was won by Team BMW driver Tom Oliphant in his BMW 330i M Sport, he finished in fifth place and was thirteen seconds behind Ingram in the end.



Meanwhile in the second race, Team Toyota GB with Ginsters driver Tom Ingram took the race win in his Toyota Corolla GT. Second was Team BMW driver and current BTCC Champion Colin Turkington in his BMW 330i M Sport, he was ten tenths of a second behind Ingram in the end. While third place was Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Dan Cammish in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he was fourteen tenths of a second behind Ingram in the end.

Meanwhile, Independents class was won by BTC Racing driver Josh Cook in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he finished in fifth place and was four seconds behind Ingram in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Team BMW driver Tom Oliphant in his BMW 330i M Sport, he finished in seventh place and was five seconds behind Ingram in the end.



Finally in the third race, RCIB Insurance with Fox Transport driver Jack Goff took the race win in his Volkswagen CC and also took Independents class win. Second was Laser Tools Racing driver Aiden Moffat in his Infiniti Q50, he was seven seconds behind Goff in the end. While third place was Halfords Yuasa Racing driver Matt Neal in his Honda Civic Type R (FK8), he was fourteen seconds behind Goff in the end.

While, Jack Sears Trophy was won by Team BMW driver Tom Oliphant in his BMW 330i M Sport, he finished in fourth place and was twenty-five seconds behind Goff in the end.

2019 F2 and F3 champions news

This post is all about the new 2019 F2 and F3 champions.

Nyck de Vries won the Formula 2 championship at last weekends Sochi Autodrom with three races to spare, Nyck de Vries won this years Formula 2 championship ahead of both Nicholas Latifi and Luca Ghiotto in the standings. So where going to see Nyck de Vries next season? Already confirmed to race at Mercedes Formula E team next season, so don't count out Nyck de Vries doing some mid-season testing with the Mercedes F1 team next season.



Meanwhile still at the Sochi Autodrom, Robert Shwartzman won this years Formula 3 championship with a race to spare, ahead of both Marcus Armstrong and Jehan Daruvala in the standings. We will possibly see Robert Shwartzman in a top Formula 2 team next season and don't count out Robert Shwartzman doing some mid-season testing with Ferrari and Alfa Romeo as Robert Shwartzman is currently a Ferrari Driver Academy.



So, contractions to the new champions. Bring on 2020.

2019 Russian Grand Prix Review

Review of the sixteenth round of the 2019 F1 season at Sochi Autodrom, in Sochi for the Russian Grand Prix.

The race that Ferrari should have won wasily. Charles Leclerc on pole for Sundays race. On a dry Sunday race, it was Sebastian Vettel took the lead from third place with both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton behind him. Ferrari opted to pit Leclerc first on lap 22, to give him the lead for later in the race. By lap 26 Vettel pitted for tyres and came back behind Leclerc while Lewis Hamilton leads. Lap 27, Vettel retired with MGU-K problems brought out the Virtual Safety Car (VSC) and allowed Hamilton a free pit stop in that period and re-took the lead to the end of the race to win easily this seasons Russian Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton's ninth race win of the season.



While, Hamilton's team-mate and Valtteri Bottas finished in second place in the other Mercedes to give the team its eighth one-two finish of the season, Bottas was four seconds behind Hamilton at the end. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc finished in third place in the Ferrari to complete the podium, Leclerc was five seconds behind Hamilton at the end of the fifty-three lap race.

Now with five races to go, with Hamilton winning, Bottas finishing second, Charles Leclerc only managed a third place; while Max Verstappen's only managed a fourth place in Sochi despite needing an engine change forcing him to start in the middle of the gird. Lewis Hamilton has improved his lead of the F1 Drivers' Standings from sixty-five points to seventy-three points ahead of team-mate Valtteri Bottas; while Charles Leclerc is third in the standings, one hundred and seven points behind Hamilton, while Max Verstappen is fourth in the standings, one hundred and ten points behind Hamilton.

While Mercedes still leads F1 Constructors' Standings, the gap is now improved from one hundred and thirty-three points to one hundred and sixty-two points for Ferrari who are second in the Constructors' Standings with five races to go.

Mercedes could win their sixth Constructors' Championship at Suzuka. Mercedes needs to score fourteen points more than Ferrari to win the title at the Japanese Grand Prix.
