2018 WRC Round 12 recap - Rally de Catalunya, Jan Kopecký WRC-2 Champion! Enrico Brazzoli WRC-3 Champion! Champion!

Recap of the last round of WRC from last weekends Round Twelve of Rally de Catalunya.

Last weekends was the twelfth round of the World Rally Championship at Rally de Catalunya (25th - 28th October) was won by that was won by Sébastien Loeb in the works Citroën C3 WRC.



While, Current WRC champion Sébastien Ogier finished second in his works Ford Fiesta WRC, Ogier was three seconds behind Loeb at the end. Meanwhile, Elfyn Evans finished third in his works Ford Fiesta WRC, Evans was fifteen seconds behind Loeb at the end of the rally.

Meanwhile in WRC-2 class (Group R5, R4, Super 2000 and Group N4 spec cars), that was won by Škoda Motorsport driver Kalle Rovanperä in his Škoda Fabia R5. Kalle Rovanperä finished in twelfth place overall, he was eight and half minutes behind Loeb at the end of the rally.

While, Škoda Motorsport driver Jan Kopecký finished in thirteenth place overall and second place in WRC-2 class in his Škoda Fabia R5, he was nine minutes behind Loeb at the end; and that was enough to give Jan Kopecký the 2018 WRC-2 championship with a round to spare in his Škoda Fabia R5; contracts to Jan Kopecký for winning this years WRC-2 championship.



While in WRC-3 class (Group R1, R2 and R3 cars) that was won by Enrico Brazzoli in his own backed Peugeot 208 R2. Enrico Brazzoli finished in thirty-sixth place overall, he was forty-six minutes behind Loeb at the end of the rally. With that result, Enrico Brazzoli did clinched the WRC3 Championship this season with a round to spare in his own backed Peugeot 208 R2, contracts to Enrico Brazzoli for winning the WRC3 championship.
