On Saturday's race, Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green took the race win in his Audi RS5 DTM. Second was Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was four seconds behind Green in the end. While, third place was BMW Team RMG driver Timo Glock in his BMW M4 DTM, he was six seconds behind Green in the end.
On Sunday's race, BMW Team RMG driver and outgoing DTM Champion Marco Wittmann took the race win in his BMW RS5 DTM. Second was Team Rosberg driver René Rast in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was three seconds behind Wittmann in the end; and enough for René Rast to be 2017 DTM Drivers' champion for his first title to beat Mattias Ekström by only three points in the last round of the year.
While, Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi RS5 DTM, he was six seconds behind Wittmann in the end.
And so, this years champions, René Rast took the DTM Drivers' Championship. Audi took the DTM Manufacturers' championship.
That's the end of 2017 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season. Contracts to the Champions in DTM this season. And now for the 2018 Season.
