Review of Round Four of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season was the World RX of Great Britain, Lydden Hill Race Circuit, in South-East England.
In the four Heats, those were won by current World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg (winning three times) and Andreas Bakkerud.
In the first semi-final that was won by Petter Solberg World RX Team driver and current World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg in his Citroën DS3. Second was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Timmy Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was two seconds behind Solberg in the end. While, third was Peugeot Hansen Academy driver Kevin Hansen in his Peugeot 208, he was four seconds behind Solberg in the end.
In the second semi-final that was won by EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström in his Audi S1. Second was Hoonigan Racing Division driver Andreas Bakkerud in his Ford Focus RS, he was half a second behind Ekström in the end. While, third was World RX Team Austria driver Timur Timerzyanov in his Ford Fiesta ST, he was three seconds behind Ekström in the end.
In the final race, EKS RX driver Mattias Ekström took the race win in his Audi S1. Second was Petter Solberg World RX Team driver and current World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg in his Citroën DS3, he was a second behind Ekström in the end While, third was Team Peugeot-Hansen driver Sébastien Loeb in his Peugeot 208, he was three seconds behind Ekström in the end.
Next stop World RX of Norway at Lånkebanen Circuit for Round Five of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship season in two weeks time.
