2016 TCR Round 5 Recap

Review of Round Five of the 2015 TCR International Series season was at Salzburgring, east of Salzburg, Austria.

In the first race, WestCoast Racing driver Mikhail Grachev took the race win in his Honda Civic TCR. Second was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver James Nash in his SEAT León TCR, he was fourteen tenths of a second behind Grachev in the end. While, third place was B3 Racing Team Hungary driver Maťo Homola in his SEAT León TCR, he was sixteen tenths of a second behind Grachev in the end.



While in the second race, Leopard Racing driver Jean-Karl Vernay took the race win in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR. Second was Team Craft-Bamboo Lukoil driver Sergey Afanasyev in his SEAT León TCR, he was a second behind Vernay in the end. While, third place was Leopard Racing driver and current TCR International Series Champion Stefano Cominia in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, he was two seconds behind Vernay in the end.



Next stop Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, Oschersleben in Germany for Round Six of the 2016 TCR International Series season in two weeks time.
