The race itself was a possibly the best race of the season so far this season. Another all-out Mercedes civil war at Mercedes with mind games between driver Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton before and during the race and possibly after the race too. But, his brakes failed and losing his ERS in mid-race cost Hamilton any changing of winning this years race. While, Rosberrg lost his losing ERS in mid-race, which he lost 2 seconds a lap. Which concludes with three laps to go when Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo pass Nico Rosberg for the lead on lap 68 of 70 to win his first Grand Prix. Making him the forth Australian to win a Grand Prix. And Red Bull's first Grand Prix win of the season.
While Nico Rosberg finished in second place. Meanwhile, the other Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel finished in third place to complete the podium positions for this years' Canadian Grand Prix.
Next stop Red Bull Ring for the return for the first time in eleven years for the Austrian Grand Prix in two weeks time.
Welcome to the winners club Daniel Ricciardo.
End of blog for now, new post soon. Bye.
