This weekends was round 10 of the World Rally Championship at the Wales Rally GB (14th-16th September) was won by works Ford rally driver Jari-Matti Latvala in his Ford Fiesta RS. Meanwhile, Sébastien Loeb finished second in his Citroen DS3, 28 seconds behind Latvala. While, Petter Solberg in his works Ford Fiesta RS finished third, under a second behind Loeb at the end.
Sébastien Loeb is still leading the WRC drivers championship, which he can win the drivers championship at Rallye de France–Alsace if he wins the rally. While, Citroen are still leading the manufuters championship from Ford, that can be sorted if Citroen finished with either Sébastien Loeb or Mikko Hirvonen wins the Rallye de France–Alsace or Ford are more than 86 points behind Citreon after the rally standings in France. Meanwhile, this weekend as-well was Round 10 of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge at Prime Yalta Rally (15-16 September) in the Ukraine. The majority of the IRC regulars skipped the Yalta Rally. The rally was won by Turkish champion Yagiz Avci in his Ford Fiesta S2000 and his first Intercontinental Rally Challenge win. Yagiz Avci was over 3 minutws ahead of Robert Consani in his Renault Mégane RS. While, Laszlo Vizin finished third in his Škoda Fabia S2000.
